Project Management

Programming
Because we’ve been around a while, our programming staff has technical know-how that spans more than a decade. From working with traditional object-oriented languages such as C++ and BASIC to following along the timeline of multimedia tools such as Director and Authorware to Flash, they’ve become experts at matching technology to needs. Multimedia Authoring
There are times when programming by non-programmers (i.e. authoring) is possible – even desirable. We’ve been associated with several projects of this sort and know both the benefits and the pitfalls. With the advent of new tools and various web and network delivery options, it’s no longer necessary to always use software engineers to create appealing interactive presentations. We can help you decide when the time is right for multimedia authoring and we’ll help you manage the effort to secure the best possible results.
Copywriting/Editing
Our staff has experience in creating original content as well as re-purposing existing material. With student copy, reading level considerations are always front of mind as well as clarity and focus. Conversely, if the copy is geared to market or sell your products, we can make the text sparkle and sing.
We’re also experienced in creating characters and bringing them to life through revealing description and dialog. And, of course, our staff includes experienced proofreaders and editors.
Audio/Video Production
Due to our deep knowledge of audio-video production we can help you avoid having too many chefs in the kitchen. When a project calls for English or Spanish narration, streaming video, or conversion of existing media assets for alternative devices (MP3 players, iPods, etc.) we can help you consolidate vendors. With a stable of professional narrators with experience reading educational material, we can handle the small audio jobs as well as recording entire textbooks.
In fact, we’ve built specialized tools to assist us with assembling and managing those audio-intensive projects.

Testing
We pride ourselves on releasing clean products that have been thoroughly reviewed and tested on all target platforms and browsers. From functionality testing to stress testing and proofing content, we take Quality Assurance seriously. We’ve even developed our own web-based bug tracking system so you can stay connected to the development effort with a click of your mouse.
