Sample homework assignment

(Unit 3, problem 3-2, 1995)

After doing a number of the exercises with carts and fans on ramps, it is easy to draw the conclusion that every thing that moves is moving at either constant velocity or a constant acceleration. Let's examine the downward motion of the wrist of a student as he breaks a stack of 8 pine boards to see if it is moving at either a constant velocity or constant acceleration. To do this open the movie DSON012.MOV and analyze it using Video Point Software.
